I am one of Sam's students in the Ladies Only Tae Kwon Do class and I have been training for four months now. We had a graduation ceremony last night and I was presented with my yellow belt as I had successfully double graded. During the presentations, Sam told us that we were excellent students... our success is also down to our teacher Sam Childs. She is a wonderful example of how motivated and positive you can be when you really enjoy doing something you like - she's always enthusiastic, approachable, patient, understanding and encouraging.
I've attended many exercise classes before but never really stuck at them because you got the impression that the teacher/trainer wasn't committed, but Sam is very different - she takes pride in what she does and truly wants to help us achieve our personal goals.
She is an excellent ambassador for Leadership Martial Arts.

I do hope you are all well and keeping up the good work on monday and thursday in Lyneham? The Tuesday night Leadership session with the possums didn't go that well. As they only come out at night and are perminately stuck in a tree i found balancing on branches in the dark hard to cope with so have enrolled Bush Turkeys and Kookaburra's for this Thursday session. I have had a busy few weeks. Been to Sydney and the Zoo. Got scarred when meeting one of my relatives, The kodiac bear in the zoo was 8ft tall and about 200kg. I know my black belts skills and all you have taught me would come in handy and after my name sake move it took me only 20 minutes to bring him to his knees! He will enrole in your class next time i am over in Sydney. They took me to see a great cricketer (Sir Donald Bradman) it was nice of him to let me sit on his knee. We have been gold paning and on a mountain steam train. also visited a fantastic glow worm tunnel. Only a few places left in the world where these tiny worms live. It was fantastic. Played on the beach today after ryan carried me for 2hrs through the bush, (he has been great to me) Be good and continue the good work in class, SIR!
